Katerina works as a Lab Manager in our team. Her undergraduate degree was in Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Democritus University of Thrace. Following this she completed Master Degree in Neuroscience at the University of Bordeaux. During her time at Bordeaux she joined our lab to complete her Master Thesis, which focussed on the sense of agency and mirror-sensory synaesthesia. Katerina’s research interests include mirror sensory synaesthesia, sense of agency, peripersonal space, emotions and autism spectrum disorder. She uses behavioural approaches and non-invasive techniques of brain stimulation to investigate these areas.
